Cordis Club Hotel, South Australia
Status: Planning permission granted
Date: 2016 - ongoing

The Club Hotel is an alternative hotel to the Lodges, also situated on Kangaroo Island. The hotel is made up of 4 ‘houses’, and a lobby building. Each block is simply stacked with 30 rooms over 3 floors to allow it to be efficiently built using modular construction.

Bespoke stair-cores define the façade, and act like markers for a twisting buggy route that weaves in-and-out of the buildings dropping guests off at the cores of each block.

Each block sits perpendicular from its neighbour, alternating between sea views and lagoon views. This alternation prevents overlooking from one balcony to another, and adds variety to the facades.
